Romina

Treatment Coordinator and Scheduling Assistant

Romina has been a dental front desk assistant for more than five years. She is pleasant and friendly, and strives to provide the best experience for all our patients and families. She is also bilingual in English and Spanish.

At Raptis Orthodontics, Romina is responsible for scheduling appointments, reviewing treatment plans with patients and families, and checking financial agreements. Additionally, she completes the insurance eligibility and verification process.

Romina is currently completing a bachelor’s degree at the University of Connecticut. In her free time, she likes to go for walks with her pups and enjoys dancing.

Anastasia

Rewards Program and Social Media Coordinator

Anastasia loves to give back to our patients and families. She’s talented, meticulous, and very innovative with our social media communications and rewards programs. Anastasia completed her Bachelor of Arts at Mount Holyoke College.

Anastasia is responsible for monitoring and properly allocating our patient rewards and chooses prizes that patients love! She’s also in charge of our social media accounts and marketing efforts and enjoys engaging with patients, families, and the public.

In her free time, Anastasia likes baking, swimming, and singing. She also loves attending theater and ballet performances.

Leah

Insurance Coordinator

Leah brings to our office years of experience with insurance billing and submitting claims. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree at Western Connecticut State University. She also completed a post-baccalaureate in health sciences at Central Connecticut State University.

At the office, Leah is in constant communications with insurance companies to ensure that our patients receive the full value of their benefits. She enjoys seeing happy smiles when patients complete their orthodontic treatment.

When not working, Leah enjoys spending time with her family, going out for sushi with friends, and going snowboarding.

Venus

Orthodontic Assistant

Venus has worked as an orthodontic assistant for more than eight years. She completed her dental assistant training at Porter and Chester Institute. Each year she attends continuing education courses to stay current on developments in the field and maintain her orthodontic certification status.

Venus assists with impressions for Invisalign® patients, bracket placement and band fitting. and performs her favorite task: assisting to remove brackets to reveal the finished smile! She is also responsible for maintaining our on-site lab and sterilization area.

Venus and her husband Paulo have a beautiful young daughter, Bella. Venus enjoys karaoke, cooking, and making chocolate-covered strawberry decorations.

Ron

Orthodontic Assistant

Ron is very friendly and ensures that our patients feel comfortable and relaxed during visits. He’s been a certified dental assistant since 2005 and completed his training at Prince Tech. Ron received his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Connecticut State University

Working chairside, Ron assists Dr. Raptis with accelerated orthodontic procedures. He also changes wires and color ties and is in charge of ordering our supplies.

Ron is a soccer fan and enjoys playing and watching the sport. He is also an amazing salsa dancer and loves vacations.

Jessica

Orthodontic Assistant

Jessica loves helping to deliver quality care to each patient, especially teaching everyone how to maintain good oral hygiene. She completed her dental assistant training at Asnuntuck Community College and holds a bachelor’s degree in social work. Also, Jessica attended the Tunxis Community College and she is a registered dental hygienist. 

At Raptis Orthodontics, Jessica assists with delivering Invisalign trays, taking photos, re-bonding broken brackets, and changing colored ties.

Jessica and her fiancé Jake love to travel. She also loves watching movies, attending fairs, and having Sunday brunch with friends and family.
